For Halloween we went out the the trunk-or-treat at church. I really think it's a fun night especially when the weather is super nice like it was this year. Look at me with no jacket or anything! We loaded up some "adult candy" (ya know the stuff, like twix and almond joy, that is waaay to good to pass out to a child) and some kid candy, a cooler of pop, and all our warm weather gear and spent the night hanging out. For our "trunk" I dressed as a chef and passed out candy straight off the grill. Naomi started off the evening helping me grill.
Here's a close-up of her in her little Cinderella costume. (Thanks, Jennifer!)
My sister, Becky, was my assistant. She ladled out candy from a pot (with Naomi's help, of course).
Naomi also spent some time people watching and walking around with my mom.
I was really tempted to give her some candy especially since the trick-or-treaters got kind of sparse toward the end of the night and we were bored. But by that time it was too dark to take pictures and there is no way I am going to miss taking pictures of Naomi's first taste of candy. Maybe next year.
What a cute little Cinderella!!
