This and that

I really had honest intentions of doing a detailed wedding post sometime this week but...it didn't. I'm so irritated that I didn't have a camera the whole weekend it just kindof makes me mad to even think about  it. But just for the sake of memories I want to post a few pictures that my wonderful SILs shared with me.

Naomi at the rehearsal dinner

It was so fun to watch Jake with his nieces and nephews in the pool. They all had a blast together. Naomi eventually warmed up to being in the water and enjoyed watching her cousins being thrown around.

Between all of us, these are the best pictures we have of all the kids going down the isle. So disappointing and so my fault. Sorry everyone.

Naomi did pretty well during the ceremony. She walked around and sat with various family members in our pew. I kept her mouth full of sweet tarts most of the time to keep her from talking. I didn't realize until it was time to be quiet that Naomi has no idea what "shhhh" means. We're working on that so she'll know for next time.

Here's everybody all dressed up. Naomi did only slightly better for this photo shoot then she did for my sister wedding. She's quite the stinker when she wants to be.

We did get a couple of really good family shots. I'm going to have to get prints.

I LOVE these pictures of Naomi and Nora playing the piano. They look so sweet together.

Congrats!

We took Naomi to a T-Bones baseball game this week. We've been wanting to go for a while and we finally did with a bunch of people from our sunday school class and we had a lot of fun. I wish I had pictures but, once again, I don't. Uugh. Anyway, although she didn't pay any attention to the game she seemed to enjoy being outside. She liked the kettle corn a lot. We tried and tried to give her some cotton candy but she wouldn't even taste it. Oh well, I guess, more for me.

Lately I just love to hear Naomi talk. I hate the thought of her getting bigger and me forgetting her toddler talk. I'd really like to get hours of video of her talking but I don't know what I'd do with it anyway so I just got a little.

  1. I love the talk too! Especially when we're on the phone and she is just chatting up a storm in the background :-)

    Love the family shots!
