18 months

Sometime recently, it seems like my baby turned into a little girl. I'm not exactly sure when it happened and I'm not exactly sure if I like it. But, like it or not, I'm am so excited about the fun little person she is turning into. Here's some new things she has been doing lately that I don't want to forget:
* She'll try to say anything we ask and most of the time something almost understandable come out. It's so funny though and our new favorite way to entertain ourselves.
* She'll look through her favorite books and point to and say things she recognizes.
* She goes down the stairs at our house by herself.
* She can get herself on and off a kitchen chair.
* She loves hard boiled eggs and eats one almost everyday. Other favorite foods include shredded cheese, applesauce, milk, and pasta.
* She likes to always be wearing a bow and shoes. First thing when I get her out of the crib in the morning she starts pointing to her bow rack and saying "pretty bow." After she gets her bows she runs to find her pink crocks and puts them on. I think it's so funny that she's not at all concerned about what clothes she wearing yet but loves her bow and shoes.

My sister, Chrissie, took some 18 month pictures of her last weekend. Here's some of my favorites...

I paused bedtime tonight to take a video of her saying ribbit. I love how she uses this low gravely voice sometimes when she tries to imitate me.
