Trick or Treat

Carving pumpkins this year may have been more fun for Jake and I then it was for Naomi. Neither of us had done it in ages. It brought back good memories. I was surprised that Jake actually got Naomi to help.

Naomi really liked these pumpkins before we carved them. After, though, she wasn't super interested in the fact that they had faces and could light up. I was surprised. She really didn't like the one on the right. She kept saying "pumpkin crying?"

On Halloween we hit up a trunk-or-treat down the street from our house and then spent the rest of the evening at our church handing out candy. I meant to take more pictures but it got dark before I remembered to get my camera back out.

Leah is supposed to be a little angel, but all her crying is far from angelic. We'll have to work on that.

Naomi was a pretty good little trick-or-treater. Something about a bowl full of candy helped her get over her shyness real quick.

P.S. Have I mentioned I love this bowl? My sister got it for Naomi. It's a gyro bowl. It works really well and Naomi loves that it has handles. Everyone should have one!
