In remembrance

This week our church had a sweet little ceremony honoring Jake's grandpa, Papa, who was our song leader and a deacon for years. It was nice to take a few minutes to share stories and reminisce about him. Deacon was ecstatic about the event. Can't you tell?

Tim and John had the honor of unveiling the portrait that will hang of Papa and Grammy in our church foyer.

Afterwards, I saw Jake chatting with Grammy in this chair. I couldn't resist interrupting their conversation to stick the girls in for a quick pic. Cute, huh?
