Winter Wonderland

Before I can get to my Christmas post I wanted to post some pictures of our pre-Christmas fun. We took the girls to Bass Pro Shop to see Santa and play. It went better then I thought it would. Naomi didn't really want to sit on Santa's lap but went ahead and obliged when we told her he would give her a piece of candy.

And here she is with the promised candy cane. I didn't think she would really like it since it was peppermint but it turns out I underestimated her love of candy.

The candy cane was a winner. The merry-go-round was not. She cried through most of it.

Leah was flashing me the sweetest smiles while Naomi was on the marry-go-round.

Some genius at Bass Pro Shop had this idea to set out toys for the kids to play with and then put a whole stack of that exact toy right next to the display for the kids to beg their parents to buy them for Christmas. Lucky for us, Naomi wasn't really interested in the toys. By the way I love this picture that shows Naomi's precious curls.

Also, the week before Christmas we got a pretty good snow that we got to take Naomi out to play in. She wasn't really sure at first. But soon decided it was fun.

And then she discovered this fun game. She kept saying it tasted like ice cream.

With Naomi's first time playing in the snow came Naomi's first cup of hot chocolate. She mostly just ate the marshmallows.

  2. She does have some pretty awesome curls! I'm glad her first time in the snow went a little better than Norah's... :)
