Paint, Potty, and everything else in between

 I have so many pictures that I have taken in the last several weeks that I want to post. I had intended to do short post about each of them but... didn't. I can't even think of a good excuse, really. So now I'm rolling them all into one long hodgepodge post.

Painting

I finally worked up the courage to let Naomi paint for the first time recently. I took tons of pictures but her face looks like this in all of them. She was such a focused little artist. I made paint out of sweetened condensed milk and food coloring (another pinterest pin of mine). It started out alright but the more paint she applied the bigger of a mess it became.

 Sitting

Leah has been doing a real good job of sitting up lately. It is so neat to have her sitting up and looking so proud of herself. In this picture she is watching Naomi play with her train.

 I love that Naomi treats her Thomas (she pronounces it "Pomas") like a doll. In this picture he is taking a nap she covered him up with a blanket and everything

 Loving

We've gotten to see my brother, Daniel quite a bit this week since he is home for spring break. Both the girls love him but Leah is particularly sweet on him. She likes to cuddle him and play with his beard. Trust me when I say she doesn't cuddle with just anyone.

Eating

 Jake took Naomi to get doughnuts for us on his day off this week. Why do I have to love doughnuts?! She picked out a cake one with sprinkles but ended up liking my plain glazed better.

 Naomi requested to eat outside today. The weather was beautiful as was this picnic up until about 5 seconds after this picture. If you know Red, I'm sure you know where I'm going with this story...

 Potty-ing

Isn't this just the cutest little bum you ever saw? Naomi has been diaper-free for a week now except when sleeping. I can't get over how big she looks without the diaper puff-butt.
