Pizza Night

Last Friday we had Jake's parents and Jason over for pizza. It's crazy how seldom we get together with family that lives just down the road. We seriously need to get better about that. Our girls love playing together. These two princesses helped me make some cookies for the event. 

 Side note: These little stools my mom got us are so awesome. We use them almost every day for the girls to "help" cook and they double as little desks. We love love love them. 

It was wonderful to spend the night chatting with adults and watching the kids play. Can't wait to do it again!

Here's some pictures I've taken around the house lately. Jake usually takes the trains downstairs to play with the girls but he let Silas play this time. He just sat on Jake's lap and watched and watched. It was sweet.

These girls are sooo not huggers. I was pretty excited to capture this rare moment.

We all think it is funny that Silas loves Naomi's doll doll. From a young age she has given it to him when he cries and these days he will seek it out when he is on the ground playing. It must be those chewable pig tales.

He also loves to hang out under the kitchen table. I'm scared to think of what he could be finding and eating under there.

First hot chocolate of the season!

Here's a fun fact for you. Jake loves to play checkers. Bet ya didn't know that. He's hoping to teach the girls to love it too.
