Zoo Fun

Last weekend we took a trip to the zoo with our friends Dave and Brandy. The hostess at dinner the first night pretty much summed up the trip when she said "I've never seen so many kids at one time!" We pretty much thought she sounded like an idiot but I'll admit, together, we do have a lot of kids to keep track of. We would've stuck Bronson in this picture too but I don't know if anyone is old enough to be trusted to hold him. I can just see Naomi tossing him on the desert floor and running off before I'm done snapping a picture.

 Ava and Leah are so cute together! Leah thinks they are the best of friends. I love how she become more adventurous and playful when Ava is around.

I was surprised that Silas was really interested in a few of the animals. This at the penguin exhibit.

Somehow we stumbled along the bear exhibit right as they were doing a feeding. It was so awesome! The trainer called their names and this one woke up from his nap and climbed the trees all the way to the tip top. Bears can climb trees? What?! Anyway, then she tossed him fruits and vegetables and he caught them in his mouth. He even peeled the banana and the orange before he ate it. It was a pretty cool thing.

Silas really wanted to catch him a peacock. Good thing they are faster then they look.

We also went to Cocoa Keys there. Naomi had lots of fun. Leah and Silas just mostly sat around with me.

I'd say Naomi did this small slide about 100 times. She did a few bigger ones and even did a really big one once but some guy came down right after her and landed on her. I don't think it was his fault exactly since the life guard at the top sent him but it hurt and scared her so she mostly stuck with the small slide after that.
