This weekend we got to meet our new cousin Brooklyn for the first time. She is the best little thing and was so sweet as all the girls smothered her loved on her. Our time to see them was way too short. I cringe when I think how big she will be next time we get together.
Sarah had her third birthday this weekend too so we celebrated with cake and presents but somehow we could find absolutely nothing to light the candles with. While us girls were about to head outside to find some sticks to rub together Jake saved the day by bringing in a torch from Jody's work van.
On Monday we headed over to the Davis homestead for more Labor Day fun. My brother also has a birthday coming up so we had brownies and ice cream cones. Silas just can't wait till he is the one lighting the candles.
Piper and Lylah are getting so big these days. They are pretty easy to tell apart but sometimes we get a good laugh when we hear one of my girls ask, "Ummm, are you Piper or Lylah?"
