Arkansas Manthes

A few weeks ago we had a super fun visit with some of our cousins in Arkansas. This trip was a little different then usual because the dads (and Jody) worked 14 hours each day on the plumbing for Joe's new house so it was just the moms and kids. We had so much fun going to Joey's tournament , Kylah's recital, and Kylah's party and church. My kids just absolutely love Joey, Kylah, and Norah. We wish we could see them more! The kids all slept in the same room for the weekend. It was literally wall to wall kids.

At the game we may or may not have monopolized a whole section of bleachers with our snacks, drinks, and toys. We did try and contain it but the darn stuff just kept spreading.

Silas just loved watching Joey play. Michelle gave him this shirt to wear and he is still wearing it today (with a few breaks for washing, of course). The poor guys keeps asking when we are going back to see Joey's game again.

I don't know that the girls were as impressed by Joey's mad baseball skills as Silas was but they still loved being at the games. They pushed Eve around the park forever and all took turns playing Mommy to her.

Eve loved all the attention she got from the kids but Norah seemed to be her favorite. They must be kindred spirits.
