Christmas came early at our house this year. Saturday was cold and snowy and we were definitely not going anywhere and, since we were ready, we thought it would be a great day to open a bunch of new toys. We still have stockings stuffed with fun stuff for Christmas morning along with gift exchanges with our extended families house so there will be no shortage of Christmas surprises for next weekend. And I think it was super fun to make Christmas a two weekend event!
Silas got these jammies from Nana and he is super duper excited that his cousin Caleb has the same ones. He just couldn't believe I wouldn't let him wear them to church so he and Caleb could be twins.
Silas got this hot wheels garage. He thinks it is the coolest thing ever and Jake does too which is why we got it. He calls it his super race car track
Naomi has been dying for this stuffed animal ever sine she saw it at Dave and Busters costing 50,000 tickets. No thanks. Amazon came to our rescue with a much cheaper version.
After presents we spent the rest of the day playing with our new toys, playing in the snow, and making Christmas cookies. I was very pleasantly surprised at how well decorating cookies went.
Eve was there making cookies and unwrapping presents too though I realize I don't have a single picture of her. I do, however, have several pictures that look like this. Eve on the bathroom stool, Eve on a kitchen chair, and Eve getting in the dryer. No place is safe from her now.
