The day before Easter was a super fun busy day. We hunted eggs at the church and then
had lunch and hunted eggs at my parents. The weather was fabulous. It is so fun to see the kids super excited about hunting eggs. The best part, though was the basket of "grown up" eggs on the piano at my moms. It was filled to the brim with cadbury eggs. I wish so bad I had a picture, it was beautiful.
In the evening we headed over to hunt eggs with the Manthe clan.
Silas and Simmy found a huge nest of eggs under this bucket. We figured it was only fair since everyone else can cover a lot more ground then them. I have just realized that these two little guys could almost pass as twins these days. When did that happen? Simmy used to seem like such a baby but he is definitely not now.
At our house, on Easter, we filled homemade baskets. Silas was not really thrilled to make a basket but he was thrilled to see it filled.
Eve was mainly thrilled with the fake grass. After that we headed out to church and got to spend the rest of the day relaxing and celebrating our risen savior. We are a very blessed family!
