With so many fabulous mother in the family to celebrate, Mother's Day can't help but be a really busy fun weekend. On Saturday night, Jake and his brothers grilled for us at his mom's house. Then the big kids played kickball. Eve sat with Nana to watch.
Eve just loves Jennifer's dog Linus, though she calls him Red.
On Sunday we met my family for lunch at Wendy's. My grandpa was just released from a rehab hospital so it was a special treat to have him and my Grandma Joy both there.
Also, the girls and I sang at church together for Mother's Day. I'm just posting the beginning because Jake lost focus toward the end and the only thing on the video are the platform chairs. And I couldn't leave Eve out, so I tacked on a little clip of her brushing her teeth at the end. She cracks me up!
To wrap up the weekend, on Monday morning I took these guys to the legends fountain and let them play until they were totally wiped out. Then we went home and they napped and played iPad while I read a book and drank my coffee in the peace and quiet.
