With Josh and Val's departure to the Philippines right around the corner we have been packing in as much fun as humanly possible with them for their last few days. On Wednesday, Josh included Silas on a trip to the Royals game with the boys. Silas had the time of his life. He fits right in with Simmy and Caleb. Unfortunately Silas doesn't even know that he watched a great game with Salvador Perez hitting a grand slam in the 8th to lead them to a win over the Boston Red Socks.
Then, on Saturday, we all went to the Manthe family reunion along with about 50 other Manthes. The group was mostly older family but these guys didn't mind. They could have fun anywhere.
On Saturday night we all got together for pizza and then Caleb, Deacon, and Bella stayed the night. At 9:00 we threw the boys in one room and the girls in the other and didn't hear another peep until 7am. Our kids had so much fun. The kids and I are all plotting a way to kidnap a few of them and keep them for the next couple of years.
