Silas requested my sister make a dino cake that turned out awesome! And he got tons of fun presents.
Ella gets all partied out real easily. Poor girl.
Silas wanted to try some sand art for his party but I saw this edible sand art set on clearance so we tried it instead. I can't say it was exactly what I had in mind as it is microscopic but the kids did think it was pretty fun.
I borrowed this interactive dino from the church nursery to be an extra guest at the party and then completely forgot him. Fortunately it was still fun to bring him out the next morning.
At four years old Silas loves Legos. One thing that makes us laugh is he is quite the packrat. One of his birthday presents was a tackle box to keep all his little collections in. He had a shoe box that he used and referred to it as his jewelry box (because that's what the girls called theirs) so Jake was anxious to get him something a little more manly. The funny part is it if filled with lots of little things we have found on the ground places, tiny containers that should have been thrown away, prizes out of machines, and little junk like that.
The first part of this video has Silas birthday stuff then the last part is just random video that I haven't gotten a chance to upload till now. None of it's super special but I though I might as well throw it in.
*Eve is singing: Baby Red-ly don't you cry, everything will be ok. Baby Red-ly dry your eyes and dream dream away.
