It's so fun to think on the first day of this school year Ella was born and she has come SO far since then. Now she is such a sweet big girl. She babbles non stop these days. We have fun trying to interpret what she is saying.
As we wrapped up the school year with field day, park day, walk-a-thon day, PJ day, and whatever else those crazy teachers could think of to distract the kids from the pending summer break, the little kids and I did our best to take part in the fun when we could. Family favorites included the parachute on park day and the big beach ball at the preschool picnic.
Jake did so great this year on Mother's Day! He took the kids out in the morning to give me some time to myself and came back with McDonalds breakfast and berries for everyone that we all piled in bed and ate together. He brought candy for breakfast dessert (is that a thing?) too and then we all headed to church. Afterward we met some family at Wendy's for lunch.
