hotel...check

We checked off the last of our bucket list items with a hotel stay in Omaha last week. We had a blast swimming and visiting the zoo there. The kids think the best part of hotel stays is watching movies at bed time.

The Omaha zoo was even better this year then it has been in the past. They have added a huge kids play area that we spent lots of time in.

It turns out I have two budding photographers in the family. Naomi and Leah filled my phone (literally) with handy wildlife pictures such as these.

I had the genius idea to go paddle boating the day after we got home from the zoo. I was unprepared for the amount of work paddling was. That paired with Eve and Ella's post vacation exhaustion made paddle boating less fun then I was planning. For example: Eve is behind me in this picture crying because she wants to sit on my lap. We will paddle boat again soon, though, with well rested kids. It was a fun activity!
