We been meaning to get some fire safety issues taken care of around the house and, since they really hit fire safety hard at Naomi and Leah's school, this year we actually got it done. We moved things around in the kid's room so they can actually get out the window if they needed and had everybody practice. The drop was actually longer then I thought and I had to actually hand everyone out the window but they got the gist.
To conclude the week we hit up the open firehouse. It was actually lots more fun then I imagined. They had a bounce house, fire truck rides, lunch, face painting, and lots of fun stuff to give away.
Eve and Jake got to ride in the front seat of the truck
Silas and Leah rode in the back .
Our family had too many people for one truck so Naomi had to ride in a different truck but she braved it like a champ.
