Leah is 6!

Leah had a fancy tea party birthday this year. Her number one food requests were fruit by the foot and rolls.  

 For her birthday, Leah asked for headphones so she could listen to music (never mind that most headphones themselves don't actually play music).  So we loaded Jake's iPod up with a few fun girly songs and some show tunes that we love.  I'm pretty sure they have been listening to it nonstop since she opened it. Also, for her birthday she got a fish! That's a first for our house. I will have to post a picture soon of her with her gilled pal Sammy.

Leah was also Marvelous Me at her school that week too. She had Naomi help her take a picture with all of her stuffed animals that she loves for the poster.

Leah is such a fun sweet girl! Her personality, I think, is slightly more intense then your average 6 year old.  She really loves playing sports at this point and is very competitive.  We have a LOT of chats about how it's ok to lose.  She is also seriously self motivated (when she wants to be) and has practically taught herself to read trying to keep up with Naomi.  She is also my pickiest eater to date and can give a cold shoulder like you wouldn't believe if you suggest she has done something wrong.
