Naomi has been begging to get her ear pierced for ages and since she is definitely old enough to take care of them herself now, we decided to make it a special birthday surprise for her. Here is the before and after. Nana took her the day before to get her American girl doll's ears pierced too so that made it super special!
Naomi picked ribs for a birthday dinner but only because I would let her pick fish sticks.

Naomi has grown into such a beautiful young lady. She is a great helper around the house and with her younger siblings. She loves to read and ride her bike. Her teacher's tell us she is super shy in school but we have no idea what they are talking about!
By the way, Silas got glasses! You probably won't see him in them much as his vision is not really that bad (20/25) but they were recommended so we went ahead and got them.
