Today Naomi started out the day by giving me a wonderful surprise. She woke up and decided she would breast feed. I'm SO happy she is picking it up!

Then she got all dressed up for her first car ride.  and we packed up our bags and headed out into the rain/snow.  When we got home she sat in the middle of the living room in her seat for a while because we really just didn't know what to do with her.  Until my parents came over and saved us.  |
We introduced Naomi to Red. He loves her.
They love to snuggle.
And just in case you were wondering, Naomi does have Jake's cute little ear crinkle just like I hoped. God is so good!

I have to say it again, she is SOOO beautiful and perfect. God IS good. What a sweet blessing. I can't wait to hold her! That is a cute little ear crinkle...=)
ReplyDeleteWhat a sweetie!! Kylah has a small crinkle in her ear like that too, and Norah has a crinkle, but a little different. Kind of fun! I can't wait to meet Naomi and hold her. Don't worry if tonight is horrible...it will get better. But, for your sake, I will pray that it goes well!
ReplyDeleteMackenzie has an ear crinkle too!!! Jennifer told me only Jake has it. How fun that he's passing it on to his nieces and daughter!

Hooray for a good b-feeding session! I'm sorry if it hasn't been going so great yet. I promise promise promise it will get better each day. I was pretty discouraged with it for the first week or so. (could've been longer - I've kind of blocked it out) =)Mackenzie and I battled it out every single 45+ minute feeding. Sometimes she won, sometimes I won. =) But somehow, it became the easiest and one of the best experiences of my life.
But yeah, I'll be praying for you and Naomi to get on the same eating and sleeping page quickly!
