Yesterday Naomi and I spent a relaxing morning in our PJs swinging and playing outside with Red. Then my mom and sisters came over for a little lunch. Naomi had just woken up from her nap and she was in a great mood.
But Naomi's energy doesn't last long yet and she fell asleep watching Gnomeo and Julet.
Later, we went to power play with Jake's family. We were so excited to see Jennifer, who just arrived back from the Philippines, and our niece Mackenzie, who came with her for a short visit. Mackenzie (aka the bravest almost 7 year old I know) came all this way without her parents just to meet Naomi (and maybe a few other small reasons).
We spent the evening just hanging out and watching the kids play games and ride rides. Here are some highlights.
Mackenzie, Joey, and Hannah were so cute playing this game where you have to hit the alligator that pops out of the hole. I'm not sure if it was cheating that they all worked together...
Naomi spent most of her time cuddling with Nana and Heidi but she did get in one little ride. She's not exactly old enough to get that it was supposed to be fun, but she looked cute riding anyway.
Awww...so glad you had fun at Power Play. Thanks for putting some pictures of Joey and Kylah up. It's funny...I am enjoying the break so much, but I also miss them so much. Being a mom is crazy! :)
ReplyDeleteYay, so much fun! Thanks for posting all the pictures. I love catching up with Kenz via blogs! She looks like she's LOVING all the cousin time. =) Naomi is so sweet whether she's awake and smiling or sleeping sitting up! She's so cute.
