This weekend, the Manthe clan got together to celebrate Jennifer's birthday (even though it was almost two months ago). We spent the morning hanging around the house and letting the kids play. It is so fun to have our niece Mackenzie around. She is really in love with her cousins Naomi and Norah. She loves to play with them and help take care of them.
We have to have a photo shoot every time we get these two sweeties together.
Naomi kept looking at Norah. It would be so neat to know what was going on in that little brain.

And then Norah shared one of her bows with Naomi. I gotta get me some of these cute little headbands!
Then it was time for the party to start. It took two shots to get everyone
Joey's face in this picture cracks me up (click on it to enlarge it). You can tell he really wanted to help blow out the candles. We relit them for the kids to have a turn.
After the party, Jake's brother, Joe, smoked some hamburgers. They were amazing! We love when he's in charge of dinner. The only bad thing about those dinners is they don't happen near enough since Joe lives so far away. After dinner Michelle did double duty with the babies while Jennifer did baths and Heidi and I cleaned up. Doesn't she just look like a pro.

Here's some pictures for Val of Naomi in the tights she sent. We love them and so does everyone else! Everyone that saw her at church commented on how cute they were.

Naomi has started sticking her little feet out of the crib to sleep and she always likes to be holding something that she can put by her face so I started giving her this little doll that has a bit of blanket for the body. It makes me nervous and at first I would let her put herself to sleep with it and then take it away but this helps her put herself back to sleep so I guess I'll let her keep it. I love that she is starting to move around some!
P.S. I'm working on switching the giggling video to a different program so it will work better. It should be working soon.
Yet! Thanks for posting so many fun pics from the weekend! It looked like so much fun. I can't wait for more reunions next year!! :) Thanks for letting Mackenzie love on Naomi so much. She was so excited to tell me that you let her pick Naomi up and hold her. I'm glad she's gonna come home with so many great memories.
