Sitting up

So, today Naomi was pretty cranky. I was alternating between holding her while I cooked dinner and letting her cry on the living room floor. One time I put her down, plopped a toy in her lap and headed back into the kitchen. I picked up the spoon to stir and I thought "wait a minute, did I just leave her sitting up?!" So I ran back to the living room and, sure enough, there she was just sitting playing with her toy. So I grabbed the camera and took a few shots.

Then I open the shades and took a bunch more.

And she just sat there the whole time! She even continued to do it throughout the evening (when she wasn't crying, that is) 

What's that? Nope. Naomi's shirt isn't on backwards it's just that... oh, ok, it's on backwards. It's just that after I wrestled her into it, I didn't have the heart to take it off and do it again. I know, that's no excuse.

Also, I'm so excited that my headbands have finally arrived. I saw these headbands from Cutie Bow Tooty first on Naomi's cousin, Norah, and they were so cute I had to get one (in every color they had)

And last but not least Naomi's jumper has a mirror in it that she loves to look into. I think it's so cute that she rests her head on the little bar so she can see herself perfectly (or maybe so she doesn't have to hold her head up ;~)
