A visit from Josh

Jake's brother, Josh, was was in the states for a short visit this week. In honor of his homecoming we killed the fatted calf (well, someone did anyway cause we ate it's ribs) and had a big "traditional" Manthe family dinner. By traditional I mean that by about 8:00 we were all there and ready to start, we ate ourselves sick on unbelievably great food, and then somehow managed dessert too all while sitting around watching football. Ahh, love it!

Nana got out Deacon's old exersaucer thing for Naomi to play on. It has sooo much to do. It was so funny watching her slide end to end going to a new toy every couple of seconds. 

 And, in case you were wondering, here's what we look like after stuffing ourselves with dinner and dessert.

 Naomi had to get a few minutes of Grammy time in before she headed off to Arkansas. We will miss you Grammy!

I've always prayed for a little girl with curls and it looks like God has once again answered my prayers. He is so faithful. Let this be a lesson to you all in praying specifically, though. I had in mind curls down by her neck not on top of her head. Oh, well I guess this one will get there eventually. All kidding aside, though, I love this little curl. It is more pronounced on some days then others. I don't really think I got a picture that did it justice but I tried. It is a long tunnel shaped curl if that helps you picture it.

Oh, by the way, look who's holding on and standing up by herself...
