This week has not been the best of weeks but I guess I can't say it was the worst of weeks either. That prize goes to the week after Naomi was born when I was an emotional BASKETCASE. Seriously, I think Jake almost had me admitted. Anyway, that is totally off topic. I started out this week steam cleaning our carpets. I was very proud of the finished product. Then I went to pick up Naomi's from my mom's and as we were getting ready to leave, she vomited... everywhere. So were cleaning her all up and, trying to look at the bright side, I said "Well at least this didn't happen in the car seat on the way home." (I'm sure you can tell where this story is going) So ya, she threw up in the car and in her bed several times throughout the night. But the good news is the carpet got none of it :~) I ended up getting the same bug a few days later which was absolutely no fun. But now we are totally recovered. Even though it was a sick week, lucky for you, I still have a few fun pictures to share.
We got this horse as a hand-me-down from some friends and Naomi thinks it is really fun, espically when daddy makes it gallop. If you look real closely you can see her little tongue sticking out.
On the day that I was sick the weather was super nice and Naomi is always so content outside so I put some shoes over her pjs and let her stand outside for a bit.
I just had to stick this picture of Aaron and Red lounging on Sunday night. They're buds.

And last I want to document this little pose because I know that all too soon it will be a thing of the past. Naomi is always reaching for a hand to hold so she can walk. It works out pretty well for her since no one can resist it. A lot of times she even beckons with her little fingers. I have no idea how she learned to do that but I love it.
Those little Nikes are ADORABLE! Love 'em. :) I'm sorry you had such a crummy week. Sick kids who don't know where to throw up are no fun! Glad you're all feeling better. You know, I was an emotional disaster the week after Kenzie was born too! Seriously, I cried at the drop of a hat. Anyway, I didn't experience it with the other three, so maybe it'll be a one-time thing for you too!
