Home Improvement

On Saturday we went over to Jennifer and Jody's to tear out the old boys bathroom.

Here's the before and after shots.
 Although the real improvement is still to come anyone who has been in this bathroom recently knows this is at least a little improvement in itself.

While the boys were working, the girls were playing. We moved the playhouse into the living room because it was warmer in there.

 Little miss Naomi is walking lots better lately and finally feeling confident enough to let go of whatever she is using for support and take off across the room. She still doesn't pull herself up at all though. I think it has something to do with the fact that she never crawls on her hands and knees. So, for now, whenever she falls she army crawls around until she gets tired of that and then crawls to someone and says requests a lift with her sweet little "up."

+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

 Naomi got a little taste of Dairy queen this week thanks the her selfless dad. I was feeling a little bad that we were eating in front of her but you know I wasn't sharing mine (sorry Naomi). Lucky for Naomi, Jake doesn't mind sharing some.

  1. What a little sweetie! So funny that she is walking so good but still won't really crawl! Each child is so different! :)
    Way to go on the bathroom...it does look better (and probably smells better!) :)
    Those Manthe boys did a number on that bathroom!

  2. (From Joe): A lot of urine made its way on that wall!!!! I am pretty sure we peed with our eyes closed half the time. It's a good thing we were better at putting a basketball in a hoop than we were at getting the pee in the stool. Funny, becuase a toilet is about the same size as a basketball hoop!!!!!

  3. Good thing Naomi has such a wonderful daddy that shares the good things of life with her! She certainly is dad's little princess :-)

    Can't wait to see her walk. I can't believe how much she has grown since I saw her last! Aunt Chrissie is so proud! :-)
