This weekend my sister, Becky, married this wonderful guy, Aaron. He's great.
I got to help with the picture taking which was totally, amazingly fun. Here's some of my favorite shots.
And my very favorite of all is this one. If you don't know her, Becky is a movie lover. So we took them to the movies in their wedding stuff to take some pictures. It was so fun!
And now for some details. Friday we spent the day decorating the reception hall and church and just generally getting things ready. I also had a doctor's appointment so I missed some of it but I made sure I made it back in time for pedicures. I haven't had a pedicure in way too long. Thanks, Becky. I thoroughly enjoyed myself.
Saturday we got there bright and early to get things set up. Actually everyone else got there bright and early. I got there later since I was letting Naomi sleep in since she wasn't feeling well. Here's Chrissie and Stephanie getting fruit ready for the chocolate fountain.
And here's Lindsay putting some finishing touches on one of the tables.
The ceremony was beautiful and went off with only a few minor mess-ups but that's what make's it memorable, right? Lucky for me, I got the best moment on video. It's right at the beginning so don't miss it. Henry, bless his heart, trips on the isle runner and does a head first slide. He's such a big boy and get's up to finish his job though. I love this video. I think I've watched it 20 times already.
All the food at the reception was amazingly delicious. My favorite chocolate fountain dipper ever is cheesecake and there was plenty! Carlene Canterbury made the cake so you know it was beyond delicious and lots of cream cheese mints. Mmmm. Oh, AND this chex mix stuff. Oh my, I'm making myself hungry. I must stop.
Somehow Naomi ended up being sick this weekend which was a big bummer. She was running a fever and had a nasty cough. I think the worst part was the lack of sleep due to the cough. She was a trouper most of the weekend, but by the time we got to group pictures she was totally done. I wish we would've gotten more pictures of her in her dress. But I did get a few.
Congratulation, Becky and Aaron! We love you guys!

P.S. I wanted to throw in these two pictures from today too. The first is Naomi showing off her multitasking skills. She can talk on two phones at ones. I wonder if she knows she's holding the remote and the video camera? Oh, and see her face. She tripped at the church after the wedding and got a big rug burn on her cheek. At least it didn't happen before the wedding...
Naomi's favorite thing to do lately is take this shopping cart around and collect things. If you zoom in on it you'll see she is currently pushing a baby, a shirt she got out of the dirty clothes, the remote and the video camera, plus a few other little odds and ends. I think she makes the cutest little homeless person, don't you?
Yay, great post! I've been stalking your blog, waiting for the wedding post. :) Becky looks beautiful! I love all the pictures, and the movie one is a great idea! I wish we could've been there!
