Partying

This was a fun, fun week here in the Manthe house. It started out early with a birthday party on Tuesday. Our little niece Hannah turned 5.

Naomi seriously enjoyed herself at the party playing with two things she loves, other people's shoes and balloons. 

Here is Hannah's mom and I with our baby bellies. Since we are due only a few days apart we're racing to see who can go into labor first. We are both so excited to see our little baby girls.

On Wednesday we went out as a family to the Great Mall in Olathe. They have a fun little play area in the food court that we wanted to try out AND as a bonus they still have one of those candy stores that has unwrapped candy that you can bag yourself. I love those places! Oh, and they have a dippin' dots stand I didn't think Naomi would like them but I was totally wrong...

Naomi is pretty shy when it comes to new places these days. She was content to sit on the side and watch the other kids for a long time. She only wanted to play when I went with her.

Then this weekend we had a going away party for my cousin, Morgan. She is leaving for Lamar University this week. We will miss her so much!

My sister, Chrissie, was here for the party unfortunately I don't have any pictures of her since she was my photographer for the weekend. It was so nice to have the pictures I wanted without dragging myself off the couch to take them. She also took some 18 month pictures of Naomi that I'll post sometime. Thanks Chrissie!

Well, that's all except this picture I wanted to post for my dad. These are the blocks he got Naomi for Christmas. She loves playing with them and is getting so good at stacking them up. I can hardly believe she can do this by herself.
