Run Run Rudolf

We had so, so much fun this year for Christmas. All 4 of my siblings were here and 4 of Jake's were too. That's 14 totally fun aunts and uncles to play with. I was trying to weed out some of the pictures but it was just so hard. I still ended up with a ton of pictures I wanted to show you so grab a cup of hot chocolate. This is gonna take a while.

We started out Saturday with a Davis family gift exchange. Naomi had so much fun playing with her aunts. We just spent the whole day hanging out and playing. Up until now, she has been scared of Chrissie's pet guinea pig but she's finally gotten to the point where she will look at it. That carrot she is eating is supposed to be for the guinea pig.

I'm so excited that these two are about to give birth to two of Leah's best buds. Keep Lindsay in your prayers as she's about to start her last trimester with twin girls.

Naomi always gets grandpa's glasses so they can watch "dancing cows" on his "puter"

At the end of the day on Saturday we went to Outback for dinner and took Naomi to see the big Christmas tree in the middle of the Legends. I think this is going to be a new tradition for our family. I have no idea why I think it's fun to stand out in the cold with the lights and music playing but I do. Must be that Christmas spirit coming out in me.

I forgot to take any pictures on Sunday. How disappointing.  The girls wore their Christmas dresses (and looked adorable) and we went to Nana's after church for chili. Then after evening service some of my sister-in-laws and I took the kids to McDonalds to play. I love that I have such great sister-in-laws and that Naomi has such fun with her cousins. I hate that I don't have any pictures of this.

On Christmas Eve we went to Dave and Busters. Naomi loved that she got to play basketball with daddy. We bought her this ball to take home.

Can you tell it's nap time?

 Christmas eve dinner.

After dinner we had a cookie decorating contest. Naomi was the cutest little decorator.

Here are the judges and winners of the contest. I would have won but I pulled my entry at the last minute so I could give my less artistic family members a chance to win.

On Christmas morning we got up bright and early to open presents at Nana's house. We spent to whole day playing and hanging out and eating. Joe cooked a great meal of prime rib and twice baked potatoes that was amazing.

Leah was a wonderful baby every day over the Christmas weekend. Someone must have told her she wouldn't get any presents if she didn't start being good.

Courtney was so nice to share her new Ipad with Naomi. She's the best little fruit slasher you ever saw.

Naomi loves this little farmhouse toy. Apparently James thinks it's kindof boring.

Naomi and Leah go so, so many wonderful presents. They are such lucky girls. All the rest of the pictures show them enjoying their presents. Some of the presents I even love. Thank you so much for loving our girls as much we do.

This last picture is my favorite. Yesterday I walked into the living to see Naomi had lined up her doll, Daisy, and Minnie to take their picture. Priceless!
