We've also been enjoying the weather in our own yard.
We got these blow up sprinklers at a garage sale last summer. Unfortunatly we left them outside the next day with Red and they suffered the same fate that our blow-up pool did in this post.
I'm so excited that Naomi is able to actually blow bubbles. She has wanted to do it by herself for a long time but the poor thing just couldn't get all the aspects put together at the same time till now.
Leah is very happy to be enjoying her first warm weather 8 months into her life. She loves to sit in the grass. I try to be attentive but I'm pretty sure she ends up eating more then her share. She is completely weaned now and it totally agrees with her. At the point where I started giving her a bottle at her midnight feed she decided that it wasn't worth waking up for so she sleeps from 9 to 8ish every day. I've finally given into the fact that Leah needs absolute darkness to sleep well. I don't really understand it but since she's been born she slept best in situations where it is totally dark. I've tried only partially covering her window up until now because I thought she would get used to the light and I want her to be able to nap anywhere but she has never taken a good afternoon nap. She would sleep a little and then cry a lot and then sleep a little and then cry some more but last week I finally gave in and completely covered every inch of window and she has taken a good hour morning nap and 2-3 hour afternoon nap since then AND she has been SO much happier! I guess I should've done it months ago. She sits and stands holding onto something but doesn't move at all yet. She eats baby food a few times a day and get little bits of soft table food to keep her from crying while I eat. We are lovin' this baby face!
I'm so glad you guys have been enjoying the weather! Naomi in the fountain is so cute and I'm glad Leah is getting a chance to enjoy the swing. Love the pics of Leah in the chair outside. She looks like a little grown up!
