Leah moved into Naomi's room last week. These two are the sweetest little roomates. I can't say the transition was seamless but it didn't take long for them to love it. The first couple of days Leah cried when I left them in the room. At first Naomi didn't know what to think of having a crying baby in her room but on the third day I heard her calming Leah down by singing her song to her. It was the sweetest thing!
Now that those two share a room we have an empty one for this little guy. In case you haven't heard, we are going to call him Silas Charles Manthe. This name was shockingly easy to agree on compared to the last two. I'm very anxious/excited to find out how this labor is going to go. My memories of Leah's birth are very good (I think because the hard labor part was rather short). I'm really hoping for something similar but not TOO short and... and a million other things, really. Would you do me a favor and pray that I am able to relax and enjoy the next few weeks without worrying about how it will all work out.
I'm not really sure where this picture fits but I couldn't leave it out. I haven't a clue why she loves this hat but she really does.
Poor Leah has been pretty miserable lately. She is getting her third molar this week and has been dealing with some kind of itchy skin allergy for a while now too. But she still has moments where she is so fun to have around. She is starting to try more and more words though they mostly all sound the same still. It is so great to hear her sweet little speaking voice after hearing 14 straight months of her whining/ crying voice.
I will pray you have an easy delivery and everything goes perfectly! Is Leah your "hard" one? :0) I think there must have to be one in every family ;) Love the name for the little guy!!
ReplyDeletePraying for you. I love that the girls share a room now. So cute!!
