Two big sisters

The girls have been pretty great with Silas so far. They are thrilled to look at him and ask to hold him occasionally but for the most part they don't smother him like I was afraid they would. Leah took a little bit to realize that she liked him but as soon as she realized Naomi was into him she was too. She's pretty good at wanting to be a part of whatever Naomi is into.

On Thursday we dressed Silas up and headed for home. Somehow I brought the cutest little outfit for him to wear home and brought myself nothing so I headed home in my pjs.

I love this little hat the hospital gave us and it came with matching booties too that we all loved.

Since we've been home things have been going pretty well. Jake took off several days to help so I really have just now hit the reality of it all. Silas has been pretty jaundice so we have been having to go in for blood draws every morning and using a little phototherapy blanket thing the doctor gave us but his numbers were a little better yesterday and hopefully they are today too so we can be done with that. He sleeps great during the day and pretty well at night. Right now he is a fairly quiet little guy and I really hope he keeps it up.

 I just love pictures with Jake holding babies. So sweet!
