We had a rockin' Batman party for my favorite two year old a few weeks ago. It was complete with capes, cake, and presents. Mr. Silas got some awesome gifts including a nerf gun that is probably more appropriate for a 10 year old. We gotta remember to check for that next time. The kids still had fun playing with it, they just had a few welts when it was all said and done.
Silas is only slightly better at being the center of attention then the girls are. I keep waiting for one of my kids to be "the crazy one." I know there is one in every family but it's not going to be Silas, that's for sure. He doesn't talk much but he has caught up with his speech and graduated the speech program that he was in for a while. I am always getting reports of how the nursery workers just love him to death and want to take him home. One of them almost cried when he walked past the nursery to his new two year old class a few weeks ago. Silas loves playing cars and trains. He isn't really very interested in watching TV yet but would play iPad all day long. He moved from his crib to a toddler bed in the girls room around his birthday too so that Eve wouldn't wake him up in the night. And I love, love, love the way he says momma. I hope he calls me that forever.
Oh, and he is totally photogenic. I can't get enough.
Ohmygosh, 2 already?! His voice is so sweet! I love how he says Naomi! I can't wait to hear more when we get there. I think he and Sim will be best buds. :)
