Almost worth it...

Last week I turned...gulp...31. Ugh. That's a pretty big number for being as young and spry as I am. But this birthday was almost worth adding that extra number on because it was so awesome. I usually am completely spoiled but this year was extra special because I've been waiting to get a few things for our new house and this was the first opportunity to splurge a little.

Jake and the kids got this little honey crisp apple tree for me. I'm so so excited for it. The bad new is our hose doesn't come anywhere near reaching it so I have to rely on manual labor to keep it watered. The good news is my manual labor thinks that is a pretty fun job.

My dad built this TV table for me and I absolutely love it! He is great at working with wood and is always up for giving something a try which is something I love about him. My mom and him even handmade this rustic looking stain. I can't believe how awesome it turned out.

And with money from Jody and Jennifer I ordered a custom name sign similar to this for our entry way. I can't wait to get it and have it hung and surrounded by family pictures.
Custom Name Sign, Pallet Last Name Wood Sign, Rustic Family Established Sign, Distressed Personalized Name Sign, Personalized Wedding Gift,

Lastly, I would hate to post a blog without news of the children so I made a compilation video of a bunch of little videos I have taken recently. The first one is Silas first verse from his little Sunday School class. He has the sweetest teachers and I'm so thankful for the work they have put in with my kiddos. Teaching two years olds would not be my first choice but they do a great job with it.
