I can't believe my baby sister has a doctorate degree now. To me it feels like she is not really old enough to be way smarter then me. Not fair. But I am so, so proud of her. After 22 years straight of classes she is going to be doing brain research at Doane University in Nebraska along with teaching classes and I hope she is a mean ol' lab teacher just because she can be.
Becky, Eve, and I drove to Lincoln to see her graduate. We had a great time hanging out and having our first sleepover in probably 15 years. We will defiantly have to do it again. Then we woke up bright and early to get to the ceremony early with my parents.
There she is! Chemical and Bimolecular Engineering. Yikes! and I've been thinking Kindergarten was a big step.
This moment was over two hours into the ceremony. We were pretty excited to finally be seeing some action.
There she is being hooded, though, I think the hood looks more like a cape. Made me wish Silas could see her looking all like a superhero.
Two baby sisters. I wouldn't mind if Eve grew up to be just like her.
Nicely done! You are the best and I am so glad that you and becky could make it up (although i am bummed i missed the sleep over!).
ReplyDeleteBTW I am getting out of the brain research. Biofilms is where it is at. Now I study bacteria growth! :-D
