I've been telling people we enjoy our short walk to school but what I mean by that is I enjoy a short walk to school. Everyone else may or may not spend much time walking, though four rarely enjoy a ride at the same time.
We stopped by the apple orchard with some of the Davis family on Monday to have our first apple cider doughnuts of the season. I can say with confidence we will be buying many more in the coming months.
Jeff and Courtney were also in town this weekend and Manthe cousin time always sends me running for my camera to capture the cute moments that pop up continuously. The dads and uncles started this family game of kickball. I didn't get in on the action but I did hear that a nameless nolongerthefavorite uncle pegged Naomi in the face with the ball.
Simeon climbed right in the playhouse with the big kids like he owns the joint.
We thought the kids would enjoy a picnic on the deck but it turned out to be a little too sunny. No matter, they all crammed into this bit of shade they found.
Eve likes to share food but Simeon is the only one brave enough eat food from her. He apparently does not yet have reservations about eating pop tarts that are soggy from her slobber.
