Bucket List

We have been working hard the last few weeks checking off items on our first summer bucket list. I have loved this idea for a long time and am so excited that the kids are finally old enough to appreciate it too. Everyone had tons of fun ideas they wanted to add but I did my best to keep the list nice and easy for this first year.

First up was rootbeer floats. See, nice and easy. Color changing straws added a fun bonus.

I don't know what got into Naomi but she wanted to do tie-die SO bad. I haven't done it since I was a kid so I was a little nervous about how it would turn out. I was glad we did it though, the excitement was contagious and the shirts really turned out great.

They were so excited they even watched them wash.
Once they were finally all washed and dried everyone wore them for most of the weekend. Silas' was a bullseye pattern and when he first put it on he yelled for everyone to throw things at his shirt. I'm quite sure he didn't think that statement through. Anyway, I got out some marshmallows to throw which led to a competition of who could catch the most in their mouth.

Then this week we lucked out and bought the ice cream man just as we arrived home from church.

Next up is a science experiment with hydrophobic sand. Wish us luck!
