Ella turns one

I can't even tell you how excited I am to have made it to Ella's first birthday.  We are pretty happy to have her move onto being a toddler.    There are so many fun little stages in year 2.

Ella got a monkey cake and monkey cupcakes

A scavenger hunt for the big kids followed the cupcakes
Ella loves babies these days and likes to pretend to feed them a bottle.    I love it!  Before I took this picture she was feeding her the toothpaste.    She also is in a cute stage where she doesn't exactly talk but understands language patterns enough to respond with a sound that sounds like yes when asked a question.      The kids have a blast asking her outlandish questions that she, of course, answers yes to.

Ella is quite the clingy baby when we are out but at home she is really great at playing by herself.     It might help that there are constantly toys laying around to be explored.       Despite never taking a paci, Ella is a great sleeper at night time and nap.    She loves raisins, veggie straws, macaroni, oranges and pink V8 splash

I hate that Ella gets so little attention on the blog.    I tried to make up for it by getting lots of 12 month videos.    Also some random video found it's way in including Leah and Nana's piano duet.
