Wrapping up Christmas

Tho official Christmas celebrations started on Saturday this year at the Davis house. I had to laugh when the big kids gave Ella the nickname of "Elfa" because of her dress.

Since it was fairly warm, part of us went on an outing to look at Christmas lights at a park that night.

Sunday morning the kids always open their stocking from us before heading off to church.

Would you look at that big bunch of Manthe kids that joined us at church.

Sunday night we got pizza and took a minute to celebrate Jody and Jenifer's 40th anniversary! We even FaceTimed the missing cousins to chat. Eve helped Jennifer finish stockings so we could hang all 31 of them before Christmas.

We spent Christmas Eve with the Manthe clan. We couldn't decide on an activity for everyone to enjoy so mixed up the families and split up. Michelle too the big girl cousins on an epic trip to the mall. The boys all went on their own separate shopping trip to the Legends and Bri and I took the littlest cousins on a short trip to play at McDonalds in order to observe a much needed long nap time (for the kids of course, 😉)

Christmas morning the kids got to make pancakes with my mom which is always a special treat. We made candy sleds and played outside because the weather was beautiful.

Manthe type fun continued throughout the week since JoeyKylahandNorah (as we refer to them) stayed the rest of the week with Nana. We saved presents at our house for Saturday so we could have a whole day to enjoy them. We made Mickey Mouse Oreos and played with toys all day. We even used temporary hair dye for the first time since Naomi has been dying for a little pop of color in her hair.

This week we had one last bit of fun before school started with a trip to Crown Center. There is so much to see there! We loved the trains, crayons restaurant, the escalators, and the fudge factory. Eve even really loved the little girl mannequin. No joke, she walked right up to her and said "I love your dress!"`
