Zoo trip

We had a few days to get away between my class ending and the kids' school beginning so we took a hop, skip, and a jump up to our favorite zoo to spend a few days (plus our family membership that we bought on our vacation last year was still active so we could visit for free).

Also, while we were there, we took the time to scratch "scavenger hunt" off of our summer bucket list with a mall scavenger hunt printed of of Pinterest. It was especially fun since our team won. The whole thing only took about 10 minutes or so, but that ended up being perfect for these guys.

Leah takes her stuffed animals very seriously. When I checked on her souvenir-picking status I found her gazing into the faces of these two stuffed animals trying to decide which she could rescue and which must be left.

They added a splash park inside the zoo that we could've spent more of the day at

Eve and Silas had a close encounter with a peacock.

Naomi took pictures of everything in the zoo with a little camera she got for her birthday.
