Counting my blessings

This weekend I was reminded how lucky I am to have this beautiful baby girl. This is an outfit I bought the day after fourth of July...2008. It was back when we first started trying to get pregnant and I thought I would for sure have a baby to wear it by the next year. Little did I know that I wouldn't have that baby girl until three 4th of July's later. This picture is my personal reminder that God is faithful and gives me the desires of my heart.

Another blessing I am THRILLED to announce is that we are going to be adding another brother-in-law into the family. Yep, that's right Aaron officially proposed to my sister, Becky, this weekend over a romantic picnic (in the rain) and she said yes!

And last, but not least, we are blessed to have the greatest family ever. We had a blast spending time with everybody this weekend.  Naomi's favorite part of the weekend might have been when she was introduced to Grandpa's pinball machine. She was mesmerized.

Dear cousin Norah
I know you have been worried sick about losing you ADORABLE navy and cream headband. But you can stop worrying. Nana and I found it under the couch at her house. She thought it was mine but it defiantly looks way better on you. She will bring it to you this weekend. Miss you!

  2. Thanks for the bow, Naomi! Nana brought it back today. Although, Norah would have happily shared it with you. You look pretty cute in it too.

I also love that Naomi is wearing an outfit you got her so long ago. She is such a blessing, and she is so blessed to have you both for parents!

I love the pinball pic. We should put together a compilation of all the grandkids playing pinball with Grandpa at that age. =)
