What a weekend

This picture is not actually from this weekend but I though it was too cute not to share. Naomi love to sit with Jody and play with toys. So sweet.

Ok, here's where our weekend begins. On Thursday we went to Grandma and Grandpa Manthe's house for their birthday. It was a good time and there was good cake (Dairy Queen, mmmmm). Naomi got to walk to the park across the street and play with Nana. She had a fun time.

Then, On Friday night, I went over to my parents to help with "egging" so while Naomi did this...
I helped Trish, Elizabeth, and Becky turn several tubs like this...
Into 2,000 eggs that looked like this...
Fortunately for me they are night owls and Naomi is NOT so I only helped a little bit before we had to leave and am now claiming that I filled 2,000 eggs with candy but, hey, it's my blog so I figure I can make a few little exaggerations here and there to make myself sound better.

Then on Saturday it was off to Nana and Grandpas for to play with the cousins. I'm feeling a little guilty that I get so many pictures of Norah and not very many of Joey, Kylah, or Hannah so next time I will do better. Here they all are playing in the pool, though.
You can tell by Naomi's face how much she didn't like the pool.
So while the big kids played, the little girls stayed high and dry(ish) on Nana's lap.
Then they had their own little dinner complete with polite conversation.
Poor little norah was so sick but she was a trouper and posed for a picture with Naomi in their little Minnie ears Nana got them from Disneyland. I think they are so darn cute!

And to finish off the weekend, Naomi fell today in the garage and has a bruised nose and lip. That's the second time she has fallen right on her little nose. I was hoping she would grow out of the falling stage soon but then I read Val's most recent post and decided it just get's worse from here. Oh well, I'm confident that her face will make a full recovery before Easter so she can look like a little angel in her new dress.

I'm so excited to know that before it gets cold again, my kids will be playing with yours outside in the pool (well maybe not the newborn...)
