Well, in case you haven't heard, this week we found out that we are having another little girl! I am so excited that I get to use all those cute little clothes again. We took Naomi with us to the sonogram and she did a great job sitting on Jakes lap and eating animal crackers the whole time we were getting to see the baby. I think it's the neatest thing to lay on that table and look at the ceiling to see the beautiful contents of my stomach. I wish I could do it every visit. She had a little trouble seeing the gender but after a little rolling around on the table to get different angles she told us it was a girl. Yippee! After the appointment we went to the "Dawg Pound" It is a hot dog restaurant that I LOVE. I got a chicago dog and sweet potato waffle fries. Mmmmmm. THEN for dessert we stopped at Krispie Cream. It really was the best day ever.
Progress for a name is going nowhere. I have a name I really like and Jake really doesn't like it. He keeps asking me to give him another option and I keep hoping he'll get used to the one I like. At least we have a few more months to decide.
20 weeks
Jessica, thanks you so much for these shorts! I found them in the tub you gave me and have been wearing them for about a week straight. I don't know what I'd do without them!

Other highlights of the week:
Naomi cracks us up when she grabs the remote and heads for her chair. Hmm, I wonder who she's seen do that...
We got this pool at a garage sale for a few dollars and set it up for Naomi to play. She wasn't really sure what to think about it but seemed to enjoy herself after I told her she was having a bath. Unfortunately, Red (aka crocodile hunter) attacked it after we went inside and it is now unusable. I'm thinking we'll be going for the hard plastic one this time.
I've spent my free time this week converting a few of my diapers from velcro to snaps. The velcro was starting to not stick very well and needed replaced but I figured if I put snaps on they would last longer so I did that. I've found I actually kind of enjoy it. I got the coolest little tool that puts the snaps on. It's so easy and I love the contrasting colors!

1) yay for girls! I can't believe how many girls we have in the family! Joey, Deacon and Caleb will have to stick together against all these girls. :)
ReplyDelete2) LOVE that you just have to look up to see your ultrasound. Brilliant!!
3) Those diapers look terrific! Look at you, you little crafty thing!
4) Have fun picking out girl names. Girls are so fun! I just gave away my big box of Kenzie and Bella's baby clothes. I didn't even look inside because I knew I'd turn into a puddle of tears ! You could do the whole Renesme thing, although Pamifer doesn't have the same ring to it...
Naomi will love having a baby sister i bet! Congrats! Good luck on the name decisions! :)
