Settling in with Leah

Well on Tuesday and Wednesday we totally enjoyed ourselves in the hospital. We watched movies, ate snacks, napped and visited. It was great. 

Then, Thursday morning, we dressed Leah in her going home outfit and headed back to reality. Jake, Naomi, and Jennifer went out and picked this outfit on Wednesday so she would be ready for her trip home.

My mom met us at home with Naomi and Red. We are so thankful that my parents were able to take care of them for us while we were in the hospital. It was so nice to know they were well taken care of. 

Naomi got a new princess water bottle from my sister, Becky. She loves it!

I have always wished I had taken a picture of Naomi with the flowers she got while she was in the hospital so I made sure to do it this time. The ones on the left are from my parents and the ones on the right are from Grandma Manthe.

Here's daddy and his two girls before bed last night. I think Naomi is adjusting really well to being a big sister. She loves to hold and talk about "baby Lelah". She gets woken up easily by Leah in the night, though. Hopefully it won't take long for her to get used to sleeping through that.

This is actually from sometime last week, I think, but since this post is so random anyway I thought I'd stick it in. Naomi has started stepping up on the rail so she can see over to look at our neighbors cats. Adorable, right?
