Once upon a time my mom and I were in the nursery with Naomi after church. She was talking and talking about Grandpa. "Want to go see grandpa?" I ask. "Yes!" was the enthusiastic reply. As if on que, in strolled my dad, grandpa. "Look, It's grandpa!" I say. Displeasure distorted Naomi's face. "No, "she cried, " I want the other grandpa..."
Yes, that's right folks, she said it. The other grandpa. At that moment we knew that we needed to take action, and fast. No one deserves to be the other grandpa. That's rotten. And, that's it. Grandpa let us change his name to Poppi. Here's some pictures of Poppi's birthday party this week.
I love this picture! Please disregard the lopsided cake. I never claimed to be much of a baker. It did taste great, though.
We got my dad a find-it for his birthday. It turns out Naomi really liked playing with it. I'm sure it helps that it looks like a giant can of sprinkles.

I love your story telling ability. I felt like I was there in the nursery with you! Glad you mentioned the Findit though because I need to get one for me. It was so fun! I miss you guys already!!
