On Thursday we had our parents and Jason and Heidi over for pizza and to celebrate for Leah's birthday. The cake was supposed to be giraffe print, the guests kind of had a hard time identifying the brown spots but I knew exactly what it was which is all that matters. There is a better picture of the top further down when Leah is munching it so you can see what the print looked like from that angle.
Leah wasn't super interested in unwrapping presents but it did not take her long to figure out that she liked what was inside.
Leah tasted and seemed to like the frosting for a few bites but in the end she never really dug in like a one year old should.
This is as bad as the mess got. It's hard to complain though, really, a few quick wipes and she was ready to go back and play.
The cake looks terrific! Giraffe print was the first thing I thought when I saw it. :) I can't believe the pics of the girls toddling around together! They are getting so big too fast!
