Grandma Joy

We got a chance to get away and see my Grandpa and Grandma Joy earlier this week. We had a super fun time visiting them. We tried out their new Brahms and took a walk around their zoo. We always have so much fun visiting there!

 Leah loved the ducks at the zoo. For some reason she is a big fan of ducks, I think because it's something we understand when she says it.

We also did some baking at Nana's house this week. Naomi loves to help in the kitchen these days, especially when sprinkles are involved. She had a great time making cookies and cupcakes for Daddy and grandpa.

It seems like Leah is changing so quickly these days. I often find her in her room looking through her books. It makes my little bookworm heart so, so happy.

 She sits and watches TV sometimes, too. For some reason I love pictures of little people sitting in front of big TVs

 She is still a super eater too. I know the time is coming when she boycotts all vegetables and other healthy things but right now I am really enjoying her appetite. I made berox this week, something she has never tried, and she just scooped it up off her tray and started chowing down.

Another thing Leah has started is singing this song with Naomi. Naomi goes around singing it so much that Leah has figured out where the letter sounds fit in and is often ready with one at the appropriate time.
