Apple Mania

This week we visited a local apple orchard with our class from church. We had so much fun! They had lots of goodies including cider slushes which I would've loved to try but I was already more chilly then I was prepared for. We opted for doughnuts instead. They were a hit.

The kids sampled and loved the kettle corn, too.
Then we headed out to pick apples. Below is a picture of Naomi and her friend Henry. Actually, usually, I can't say that they are besties but today they both must've been feeling extra friendly. They wanted to walk together, hold hands, and sit together on the hayride. And many thanks to Austin Chiles, the photo bomber...

Before we left, we fed the ducks. Ducks are one of Leah's favorites but she wasn't really a fan of them being so up close and personal. Plus, these ducks we a little more crazy then average. She got a couple of little pecks on the hand and that was enough to know she didn't want to feed them. Watching from up in daddy's arms was good enough for her.

  1. How fun!!! Naomi's hair is getting so long, and it's so adorable in those pig tails! Cider slushies sound amazing and PERFECT for our weather!
